Energy as used in this writing is the unseen, but felt, vibration that occurs during any connection that is made between two people. I often hold hands of those I am reading for. There is a brief exchange of energies through hand holding in the beginning of the session. It is a time where focus is channeled through the energy created when people connect physically. It is also a time of grounding or becoming aware that you are here at the session and not back in your car, or making dinner. The gift of touch can be healing all on its own. Knowing that someone is supporting you through touch, puts one in a state of ease. The energy exchange may begin with touch, later it weaves in and out of a sometimes highly emotional conversation.

As the sitter gets comfortable, the conversation may lead to mediumship connections, or a Tarot reading. During a mediumship connection, various symbols appear in my minds eye (Clairvoyance) that the sitter can relate to in reference to the departed. These symbols are a catalyst for opening up memories, which are explored though empathic conversations. I offer, as a psychic empath, to hold the pain that can be used for healing. Within this holding our conversation brings forth new insights and resolution to old wounds for the sitter. Psychic empathy is defined as having the ability to feel one’s pain, to connect with the energy of one’s pain and to hold it until healing occurs, or the pain is transformed by the sitter through awareness. Messages are shared from the departed during the conversation, which can bring new levels of healing and awareness to the sitter. During a Tarot reading insights develop for the sitter based on the interpretations expressed by the images on the Tarot cards. A highly personal and healing conversation develops as the symbols expressed in the cards tell a story. A recognition of sometimes hidden parts of ourselves is brought forth as the story unfolds. The energy that develops between myself and the sitter is strong, and it carries us through to a conversation rich with insights and feelings of resolution.

I am trying to share something that is hard to explain. Experiencing it is easier. Clients often tell me how good they feel after the session. I too feel lifted, almost as if I was meditating. I know something is happening with energy because my cat insists on sitting nearby, and seems to be soaking up the energy created.
